Can’t believe that the end of the summer is near! There are students back in school already which is hard to Wrap my mind around that, and I do not even have kids or am even in school!
On Saturday, Sep 8 from 9 to 4 MAWS (Metroplex Adaptive Water Sports) will be having the last Ski day of the year at Marine Creek Lake in Fort Worth. This is a great event that I personally have had the opportunity to go to and it was a blast!. There is no cost for this event, And lunch is included! Sun, Sep 9 it is a Tri-All-athon event at Cedar Hill State Park. Activities will include pontoon boat rides, tank fishing, casting, TPW catfish tank, on and off road hand cycling, sailing, in nature photography, innovative adaptive equipment. Lunch is provided, and this is also a free event. Hosted by Turning Point, And be sure to tell them at the entry gate that this is for the tri-all-athon to get in the park free! Sep 20, Is N. Texas Giving Day!! Lava Cantina (located in the Colony off 121) is throwing Camp Craig Allen a CONCERT & PARTY! You can get tickets directly on lava Cantina website(tickets are $20 and up). There will be a silent auction, great food, and Katey Sagal in concert! Even if you will not be able to make it in person you can always throughout the entire day can give! This is done annually that all of Norton Texas is asked to give!!

Every other Fri. in Frisco there will be a coffee roundtable to all Special Needs Moms in Frisco with Dawn Cruzan. You will need to contact Dawn Cruzan directly on FB in a private message for details. This is an informal 1-2 hour of coffee time and Dawn and other moms. No topic is off-limits, and all issues of disabilities are welcome. As Dawn is directly connected in Frisco, there is a chance to bring concerns or resources together and help the families of Frisco directly.
