Before I continue on with my day I want to give a big thanks for those who died to give us the freedom that we have! I have silently been saying prayers all weekend! One of my favorite hobbies is to go set outside and read my book or most recently to listen to audible(the audiobook I get from my Kindle fire). So I went outside this afternoon for several hours just listening not only to my book but also to the birds singing! It is absolutely beautiful weather out there! Before I began I had to stop in silence and said a quick prayer! I am so proud to be an American!

Working at the NAS JRB doing 2 someone paid internships during 2005-2006 was amazing! I worked in the medical department with the Navy, but for the Marines. I worked every 3rd weekend because that is when the reservists would be there. I mostly did the medical records for the Marines, and they needed to be done for the reservists, so there I was! One day they had a speaker (I cannot remember if this was around Memorial Day weekend or not) was one of the last surviving Petty Officers (Navy) at Hiroshima. As I listened to his story tears were streaming down my face, as the things he had gone through and friends he had lost. It had really opened my eyes!! Thank you for letting me share my story with you! Thank you for everyone who sacrificed for us!

Rolling on, Stephanie
