A choice you will not regret!

Just a reminder that thi s coming Saturday, June 4 will be a choice you will not regret!! Join us for this FREE event. Camp Craig Allen will have an info booth and a wheelchair hockey clinic at Turning Point’s Extravaganza at Bachman Rec Center in Dallas 9am-3pm. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to man our booth and give out information on Camp Craig Allen programs including our wheelchair hockey program which will be on site to let people try out the sport and recruit new players. To volunteer contact info@campcraigallen.org! Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Turning Point’s Annual Extravaganza “Celebration of Choices” is the largest event for the physically disabled community in the South! Over 250 people with disabilities, young and old, are able to experience over 24 adapted outdoor activities including – water skiing, archery, hockey, handcycles, kayaking, sailing, jet skiing, catfish tank, remote control cars, disc golf, bass fishing, fly fishing, virtual hunting, air rifles, and more. Also you will see the latest medical equipment and adaptive vehicles there.
Great prizes are the reward for participating at the Extravaganza – each activity tried, gets your name in a drawing. At the end of the day, there will be a gathering to draw names for the many great prizes just for trying an activity.

If it happens to be your 1st time to go do not make the same mistake I did the 1st time that I went. About 7 years ago was the 1st time I went, and I did not know what to expect at all! A friend of mine was bringing his hand bike for people to try, and he asked me to come along! He did not tell me there would be water sports to try. So I did not have my bathing suit on, bring sunscreen, or a towel. I wanted really bad to try waterskiing, sailing, kayaking, and scuba diving. You better believe that I have tried every one of them since, and some of them more than once:)

For more info go to http://www.TurningPointNation.org

I hope that you get to go as it will be A CHOICE THAT YOU WILL NOT REGRET!
Rolling on, Stephanie

And if you find something that you really like Turning Point can help you with information about doing the activities more! It is a great social event as well! I have been to the extravaganza 4 times, and have yet to try everything! I love it!
