There was about 15 of us in wheelchairs who got out in the rain on Fri. for the annual Camp Craig Allen Halloween party! This was a big deal for some of us as it was the 1st time to get to see our peeps since the BBQ in June! Mike Shipka, and the staff at United Access in Carrollton,  https://www.facebook.com/pages/United-Access-of-Dfw-North-Carrollton/1422997504651983?pnref=story, opened their doors to host this spooktacular event.  A big thank you goes out to them!

We started out the evening getting our grub on! Awesome Mexican food was catered in, and we had a choice of beef or chicken fajitas! All the fixings to go along with that, and also chips, salsa, beans and rice! It was so good! I do not know who made these but for dessert there were these brownie bites with orange icing on them. Made for a perfect treat! Visiting with one another, catching up with old friends while meeting new ones was also top priority!

eating out so eating

Seeing all the costumes, and the creativity behind it was the highlight of the evening!

Isn't this the sweetest!! Dawn Cruzan dressed as the camp counselor showing some love to her boyfriend Michael! Best be careful that the camp authorities don't find out what you're doing Dawn, LOL

2015 CCA Halloween the voice

I was a judge on The Voice. It took my caretakers creativity to make the costume! As you will see on the next picture is my contestant (that’s my dad)! We had planned to do a little skit where he would sing, and I would turn around for him! That did not work out, and it is probably for the best!!

dad

There is my contestant! He was going to sing some old country tune that I had never heard of before! I guess though if that way he messed up on the song I would not know, LOL!

It is so interesting to see what Justin Fetz is going to be from year-to-year! He isthe dialect from the doctor who TV show. It had lights on it and everything. It must have taken him forever to get it put together!

The guys at Studio to Go, http://www.studiotogo.com, have been a part of several CCA events. I absolutely love it when they come as that is all wheelchair accessible. Before that I was a youngun the last time I got to take pictures in a photo booth. Here is one of the pictures that were taken from the photo booth! Thank you guys!Bono both

We had a from table discussion with me and my peeps with physical disabilities. While the kiddos got to play a game!

I had so much fun! If you are going to go out tonight be sure to have fun and be safe!
